Our Vision

Comprehensive Learning Services started out of the perceived need to bring individual remediation and group services to the Hyde Park neighborhood, where they were not conveniently being offered at the time.

After working for several years with schools such as Sacred Heart, Ancona, Daystar, and the University of Chicago Lab school, Dr. Perry saw the benefit for parents and families not to have to travel all the way to the north side of Chicago for educational services.

Now located at the Akiba-Schecter School 5234 S. Cornell, Comprehensive Learning Services offers space for individual treatment rooms, a large meeting/group room, and a convenient front door drop-off for busy caregivers on the go!

Dr. Chrisna was the right person at the right time for our son and our family. She has been flexible and adaptive to our sons needs from week to week and always communicates with us so we understand the skills that they are working on, his challenges and more importantly, his successes! It has been well worth the time and investment!

Dr. Perry has been a godsend! Our son was struggling with his reading, and consequently his homework had become extremely stressful for him. After receiving a diagnosis of ADHD with dyslexia, we sought out the services of Dr. Perry. After just a few sessions we could see a real difference in our son’s abilities and more importantly his confidence and stress level around homework. Our son has really connected with Dr. Perry which, when you’ve met her, will come as no surprise. She is genuine, caring, kind and very knowledgeable given her experience as both a learning specialist and Educational Psychologist. I truly cannot fully express how wonderful she is and the amazing work she has done with our son. He has a new-found confidence that is serving him well.
